Most might not know this, but Foreigner did Good Morning Atlanta on July 21st, and will be doing, The Today show on NBC Aug 6th, and The Early Show on CBS Aug 9th. So check them out, if you can get up that early, oh wait DVR or Tivo it. Then maybe someone can send it to Youtube, then post it here.

An American friend has kindly offered to record them for me. I've also asked him to record the Soundstage performance when that is aired. If not I would miss out on all this, being in the UK. I have had to order both Billboard mags online, cost me $20 to ship them over here but well worth it!

Both The Today Show and the CBS Early Show are “in studio” appearances for the Band and not open for the public to be present in an audience format. Many of you may remember when Foreigner did the CBS Early Show a few years ago that they performed outside in the Plaza in front of the studio which permitted the fans to gather round and watch. That isn’t what is happening this time.

There will of course be opportunities to see them arriving and leaving from the New York studios but their “call” times are pretty brutal – 5 AM for The Today Show and 5:45 AM for The CBS Early Show. Both studios have windows where the studio personnel can be viewed from the street but probably the Band itself will not be visable from the street.

The broadcasts are scheduled as follows: The Today Show – Wednesday August 6th – 9:42 AM – 10 AM and The Early Show – Saturday August 9th – 8:30 AM – 9 AM. The ending times are approximate.

Wow DWG, thanks for sharing the link. I enjoyed the interview and "Say you will", a song, that always makes me shiver when i hear it live.
I'd also like to see the CBS and NBC shows. Would anybody be so kind and give us the internet links? We poor Europeans are very happy to see the band at least on the screen this year...

Like Rika, I am so pleased I can view these performances...and the fabulous vids on YouTube...as being a Brit, it's the only chance I will get to see them "live" this year.
