Author Topic: CBS Early Show Thank you to the band and FWT!!! (Read 912 times)

Who knew getting up at 5:30am on a Saturday would reap so many rewards! I was the lone representation of the forum but it was well worth the trip! The audience coordinator said he had a surprise for me and then one of the producers asked me if I had anything to sign, I said yes the new CD but it was in my car. She asked if I could go get it so I did only to come back to them handing out free copies to everyone lol! They then set the band up in front of me to sign the CD live on national television and I had a chat and laugh with all the guys.

After that the guys went inside the studio to get ready for their performance. Of course I was not going to be denied to see the guys perform live. With a little networking, as my friend Mark here likes to say, I was able to be personally escorted into the studio!!! They did Too Late and Feels like the First Time. I was one lucky girl!!!

Thanks to the guys, you always make me feel like an old friend and THANK YOU for my special surprise gifts!!! I am so happy!!!!!

I'm so pleased you had a good time Gina.You were a tv star for a few mins!! Excellent! I was thinking of you this afternoon just after lunch, knowing that in NY the show would have just been starting. I shall now see if my Stateside friend recorded the whole show, if so I will see your appearance :biggrin:

That is SO awesome! Once again I missed out on a great opportunity! I couldn't get a flight on such a short notice using my points and with all the traveling I have done lately, I couldn't afford what they wanted for a flight. So we will just live through Gina;)
