Rockin' at the Ryman
« on: September 23, 2013, 06:49:42 pm »
I have just bought Foreigner, Rockin' at the Ryman on DVD.  What an enjoyable concert it is.  Brian Tichy standing on his drums so he could throw his sticks to the people on the upper level.  I think they even caught one. It included some funny moments, Michael trying out his breakdance moves and then Mick trying to sell him for parties.  When Kelly told everyone to hug the person next to them for I Want To Know What Love Is and then having a dig at a man in the front who stuck his elbow out, that was funny.  As usual their performance was sublime and the way they interact with and support each other is an absolute joy to watch.  Well worth the money for sure.

Yes. I have this on Blu-Ray and the picture quality and sound is stunning. My only gripe is that there seem to be some hopeless fans near the front who clearly are not real fans and just went along for a night out. Brian is indeed an animal on the drums - absolutely whacks the drum heads.
