Bonus Disc for new album The Remixes???
« on: October 03, 2009, 02:18:24 am »
I was curious I just bought the new album at Wal Mart and I was curious after reading the liner notes it says some of the remixes were re-recorded? I was under the impression that all those classic songs were going to be re-recorded with Kelly handling all the vocals? Can anyone solve this mystery? I know the new Journey had newly re-recorded versions of 11 of the classic Journey songs with the new singer is that the case with the Remixes bonus disc?

The remixes are all the original recordings with Lou on vocals.

....and as I've posted previously, they take some of the "polish" off these songs.

Refreshing to hear "little goof-ups", but more importantly, the vocals and individual instruments are clarified and brought more into the forefront.

But at the end of Dirty White Boy he lets out this yell that's not on the original recording? Plus they said in concert this summer they were going to be re-recording some of the old stuff with that line up much line Journey did with their last release?
