I'm amazed every day how talented this group is. Michael Bluestein worked on that Kashmir segment on the tour bus on the way to Clearfield. So it sounded great for not doing it during a sound check. So now he does it for all future concerts, so anyone going to future concerts will hear an awesome drum solo, that will make you cheer and be glad you bought your ticket.

I also really like how the backdrop lighting moved to the beat of the music during the keyboard solo for the recent tour with Bryan Adams. I hope that same background will be used in the future...it was really cool! Also, liked the band name that flashed and pulsed at different times. On the nights Foreigner closed, it showed up very well!

From the moment Mick reformed the band in '05 and Phil Carson became their manager the sound mix has been nothing less than stellar at the six shows that I've attended.

A bad mix is not the norm.

Michelle...totally agree, that "curtain" of lights behind them in TX was AWESOME.  I gave props to the light tech taht night.
Unfortunately they did not have that in Alhambra  so I don't know if it's traveling with them or was just in TX...but it WAS such an enhancement to see that behind them....

We won't see them until Primm, so won't know what's behind them other than their FOREIGNER backdrop.

Hi Kevin, nice to have you here... I totally agree with you. As far as I know from the German concerts they always had the BEST sound for every venue. Even in Karlsruhes Schwarzwaldhalle, a dome, where many bands ( like Journey two months ago) fail to produce an appropriate sound Foreigner sounded gigantic...and, if you remember, last december a professional sound engineer ( from Oslo or Helsinki, I don't remember right) posted at the former forum and was thrilled how well the sound of the band was!

Basicly it can happend, but mostly it won't

Cause the concerts are great and the sounds

fantastic.

Again it's possible, but a few not to much.

YES!!! The backdrop issue needs to be addressed! The soundstage vids posted here are awesome and the recent videos I've seen posted with them are great too.  Adds a whole new fantastic feel to the show. Perfect way to showcase the boys!
