Foreigner, one of the biggest rock bands of all time, are internationally renowned for creating some of the most iconic songs in contemporary music.
With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 top 30 hits, they are universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world.
And that formidable musical arsenal continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 75 million.
Responsible for some of rock’s most enduring anthems, including Cold As Ice, Feels Like The First Time, Urgent, Waiting For A Girl Like You and the worldwide number one blockbuster I Want To Know What Love Is, Foreigner continue to rock the charts more than 30 years into the game.
Now they are planning a gig here in the North-East as part of a nine-date UK tour during the spring of next year.
Playing the legendary Newcastle City Hall, on April 4, Foreigner will be supported by two other rock legends – Europe and FM.
Swedish rockers Europe have just completed a Spanish tour with Def Leppard and Whitesnake, having made a remarkable comeback in recent years.
They will be performing songs from their last four albums: Start From The Dark, Secret Society, Last Look At Eden and their ninth, and most critically acclaimed studio album Bag Of Bones, plus classics including Rock The Night, Superstitious, Carrie, Prisoners In Paradise and their worldwide number one rock anthem The Final Countdown.
FM will be opening next year’s UK concerts. Earlier this year, FM released two critically acclaimed albums Rockville and companion album Rockville II. l Ticket details from www.
