Record Crowds for Art & Air Festival
Timber-Linn Memorial Park in Albany was packed Aug. 24 when Foreigner took the stage at the Oregon Amphitheater during the ATI Northwest Art & Air Festival. City officials on Friday released their attendance estimates for last weekend’s festival. Marilyn Smith, city of Albany spokeswoman, said an estimated 25,000 people were in the crowd for the concert. Overall, the Art & Air Festival had its largest year ever, drawing an attendance of about 55,000 during its three-day run, according to Katie Nooshazar, recreation manager for the city of Albany.
