New York, Wednesday, April 1, 2015
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FOREIGNER LIVE IN NEW YORK, a full concert captured from the award-winning, legendary rock band's current 2015 tour, will premiere on pay-per-view on Friday, April 10 at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT, it was announced today by distributor MultiVision Media, Inc.
The concert, produced by Live Alliance Inc., utilized 15 cameras, and was executive produced by Nate Parienti, Brian Ricco, and Foreigner lead guitarist and founder Mick Jones.
Driven by such hits as Juke Box Hero, Waiting for a Girl Like You, Cold As Ice, Hot Blooded, Urgent, and I Want To Know What Love Is, Foreigner continues to rock the catalog charts. Earlier this year, Foreigner sales eclipsed those of The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and Queen, proving Foreigner’s tremendous following among rock fans.
“We are excited that we can share ‘Foreigner Live in NY” with thousands of our fans across the country via pay-per-view,” said Foreigner founder Mick Jones. “The Capitol Theatre is such a unique venue, and provided the perfect backdrop for this special evening.”
The event will be available in High Definition and state-of-the-art 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound and will be carried throughout the month on cable and satellite in North America via iN DEMAND, VUBIQUITY, DIRECTV, DISH NETWORK in the United States and ROGERS CABLE and BELL EXPRESSVU in Canada. Please consult your local guide for channel and encores on your carrier. The suggested retail for FOREIGNER LIVE IN NEW YORK is $19.99.
The concert will also be available world-wide on home computers, laptops, iPhones, iPads, and android devices by streaming from payperviewliveevents.com, presented by All Oceans Interactive Media, Inc.
"We are very excited to present this legendary band from the sold-out Capitol Theater so that fans around the world can relive the thrill and excitement of a live show from this great band," said Ricco, a television veteran, who has held executive positions with Cablevision, Showtime, IN DEMAND, and Vubiquity. "The vocals of Kelly Hanson and stage wizardry of Mick Jones is a rock fans dream."
This will mark the fifth recent concert distribution by MultiVision Media. LAURYN HILL LIVE FROM BROOKLYN BOWL premiered in November, followed by live performances by GRATEFUL DEAD bassist Phil Lesh on New Years Eve, ALICE COOPER LIVE FROM AUSTIN, and SOCA MONARCH FINALS FROM TRINIDAD.
Live Alliance, Inc. and MultiVision Media, Inc., a partnership that began in 2012, will announce a major concert event for the summer shortly.
