2009 US Tour

Before heading off to California, Foreigner made one last stop in the Pacific Northwest at the Western Idaho Fairgrounds in Boise, ID last Tuesday. Set to take the Grandstand at 7:30pm, the line to get into the show snaked throughout the fair and seemed to disappear into the horizon. With over 8,000 screaming fans, the fire chief had to eventually stop letting people in.

During the show, a 'Juke Box Hero' sign was raised by a loyal fan and Foreigner was more than happy to oblige. Here is a clip of the capacity crowd showing their appreciation for undoubtedly another high energy show!

The last time we checked in with the tour, Foreigner was in the Great Lakes region playing the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Michigan. Since then, the band has been all over the US starting in the Southeast with 3 shows at the Imperial Palace in Biloxi, MS, the Wild Adventures Theme Park in Georgia, and the House of Blues in Orlando, FL. From there they headed across the country to the Pacific Northwest for 4 shows in 4 days. Here is a picture of Foreigner playing for a sold out audience in Lynden, WA at the Northwest Washington Fair on Thursday night!Sold Out Crowd in Lynden

After the Fair in Southwest Washington the next night, it was on to the Marymoor Amphitheater in Redmond, WA on Saturday. As expected, another great show!

With the release of the upcoming album fast approaching, the band has become quite good at multitasking - touring, promoting, recording, meeting and greeting, etc. So good, that they even take it to the stage. Here is a clip Kelly of taking some time during the 'Cold As Ice' jam to take a photo for a fan!

Guess there were no rafters to climb!
