Journey's End


The final weekend for the 2009 Europe Tour has come and gone, and what a ride it has been! Friday night Foreigner played to a sold out crowd at the Lovely Days Festival in Wiesen, Austria. Here's Mick enjoying Eric Burdon & The Animals perform their hit version of 'The House of the Rising Sun.'

After the Animals, Foreigner took the stage to yet another great crowd and venue.

Saturday night, the final night of the tour, was at the Bospop Festival in Weert, Netherlands with Foreigner as the Headliner taking the stage at 10:45PM.


It was a great tour and Foreigner hopes to make it back to Europe soon. After the Bospop Show, Mick and Kelly say a few words about the tour.

Wednesday was a travel day for the band, departing from Paris to Switzerland via a flight to Milan. On Thursday, they played at the Moon & Stars Festival in Locarno. Here is a clip of them wrapping up their set in the beautiful Piazza Grande Locarno to a sea of fans.

Foreigner headed to Paris after the show in Bad Kreuznach, where they will stay for three days with a day off on Sunday and Tuesday. They performed at the famous music hall L'Olympia in Paris on Monday.Olympia Sign

Earlier that day, Mick did an interview for a French Radio station and did the entire interview in French. Here's a short clip.

The Europe 2009 Tour is in the final stretch with the last four shows, starting with Paris, France. The outdoor festivals, wonderful venues and great fans always makes coming to Europe rockin' fun and Foreigner is happy that they were able to share a little of the adventure with the fans from around the world.
